Post: The Sigfox radio module in XBee format

ATIM Radiocommunications announces the release of a new radio module with a form factor compatible with the famous XBee modules.

The objective is to be able to easily extend the radio range of an existing product and also to make it “connected” (via the Sigfox network). As the commands are not the same, the application software will have to be modified by an in-house development.

This “shield” or extension board integrates an ARM-NANO RF module in 868MHz 25mW version (local point-to-point communication or Sigfox). The Sigfox tester allows to evaluate the quality of the LPWAN network simply.
